Shortly afterwards, a newly-recruited Newstech researcher is murdered along with his wife and 17-year-old daughter. The girl's murder was witnessed by an "honorable" father, who was videoconferencing with the teenager and is now faced with a difficult dilemma: keep quiet or reveal his shameful secret. The Eye Tech has a hidden functionality discovered by the researcher: it can be discreetly triggered and manipulated remotely, making it the perfect spying tool for voyeurs or malicious individuals.
