I am the head of a youth association based in Ouagadougou (BURKINA FASO) called Convention for the Culture of Peace (C.C.P.); it is involved in human rights education and the promotion of national and international solidarity through training, information and awareness.
To do this, we use the techniques of social communication through the forum theater, the forum debate, the peer education, the comics and many other local alternatives.
And convinced of the power of the image, we have created a film club for the realization of documentary films to be used as cine-debates during our awareness tours.
Therefore, we hereby request you to grant a training course in the following areas: Initiation to Cinema, to the vVdéo, to the Photo, to the Scenario or to the Computer graphics for the benefit of at least one of the members of our club. The latter, upon his return, will be able to supervise his peers.
We are counting on your help to strengthen our social communication capacities in order to succeed in the great challenges of transforming mentalities and mobilizing human and material resources around the essential development issues facing our country, which is counted among the poorest in the world.
