Frédéric Castadot graduated from the Université Libre de Bruxelles in Art History and in Film Analysis and Writing (ELICIT). A protean author (music, cinema, television, literature and comics), he received the Best Script Award at the Media 10-10 Festival in 2004. Since 2006, he is the Vice-president of the Association des Scénaristes de l'Audiovisuel (ASA) in Belgium and has participated in several Festival juries. His first short film NoStar was directed by Christian Neuman. He represented England in the "U.K. Trailblazing Short" project (a program of 12 English shorts screened in the United States). His feature film script entitled "Quand on n'a que l'amour" was selected for the Sopadin Junior Prize for best screenplay in Paris in 2006.
