I am not closed to any universe or any project. I have of course preferences and domains of predilection, but in fact I like several genres, and I also like to invest universes which are not necessarily mine at the base. For example, this work of adaptation of Louder than hate was very new for me.
I am currently working on two feature film scripts:
- L'enfer Me Ment:
Leonard, a senior citizen, is arrested and incarcerated for criminal conspiracy. His place of detention: the Acacias, where mainly young people live. He never ceases to surprise his two cell neighbors with his way of thinking and acting. But above all, Léonard knows the plans of the prison by heart...
This script is supported by Laurent Lejeune (actor), Laurent Zimmermann (actor), Nicolas Benoît (casting director) and is currently being read by producers, directors and actors.
- Stronger than hate:
Tim is a bad seed. Abandoned by his mother and beaten to death by his father, he becomes at 5 years old a child of the Assistance. From foster homes to reformatories, he learns violence and hatred. But his thirst for freedom and love will lead him to search for a lost humanity and an access to happiness. Screenplay finalist in the "Writing for Film" section at the Autumn Film Festival 2006, and finalist in the Screenplay Competition at the BA Film Festival 2007. Currently reading for the 2007 Best Screenwriter Award organized by the Sopadin Company.
Project of film adaptation of the book of the same name, autobiography of Tim Guénard. The project was directed by Marcello Catalano. The script will be available soon in English and Italian.
