Saint Val is a pseudonym which the author, discreet, uses both as a pen name and for the identity of his main hero: Alexis de Saint Val, a formidable intelligence specialist working within the ASPIC (Special Agency for the Protection of Common Interests).
The author was born in Belgium and lived most of his childhood on the border between Lille and Tournai. Classically trained, he became interested in computer science at a very early age and became an expert in the fight against cybercrime and industrial espionage during his professional career.
He has had many opportunities to work on specific cases with law enforcement agencies, and has extensive experience in private security and international risk management. He has advised several economic and political figures during this particular career. The proximity with some of the men of the shadows is a legend though!
Today, as an international consultant in risk management and prevention, his hunting ground is wide: cybercrime, information crisis and forensic analysis.
