David gets close to Alexander.

DAVID

Me too, but what can we do about

it?

ALEXANDER

(gesticulating)

We just should pass the light, bear

the pain for a moment and run back

to the car.

DAVID

What if we’re reached by the light?

ALEXANDER

I know, but I think we can do it.

(pointing the light)

The first time it didn’t chase us

right away, we could have an

advantage.

DAVID

(looking ahead and

sighing)

Fine.

David and Alexander get close to the light threshold. They

both take a deep breath, then they look at each other.

ALEXANDER

On three... One, two, three.

The boys come out from the entrance roof and start running

again.

EXT. ENTRANCE SCHOOL/PARKING AREA. NIGHT

Alexander and David come out from the shelter. They are

struck by the light for a brief moment, and scream in pain

again.

They surpass the light and keep running side by side as fast

as possible. The circle begins to chase them again.

They come out of the school gate and see the car in the

distance.

ALEXANDER

We’re getting close!
